Object desired

Seren looked at the shiny object with serene pleasure. His trembling hands slowly and deliberately extended towards the rock upon which the jewel so sparkling and magnificently radiant shone. As his hands hovered over the jewel so sought, there arose a multitude of voices from inside the aura which surrounded the object of his heart's desire, "For whom wilt this pleasure be taken?!"
